Limitations of smaller setups, Procedure and Requirements while starting a new Setup

A young doctor finishes her degree and rents a ground-floor shop in Kharghar to open a clinic. She has a signboard, a couch and a stethoscope. Within a week a patient collapses in her waiting room. Does she have an oxygen cylinder, a trained helper, an ambulance contact, a registration certificate on the wall? The law asks these questions before the patient does. This topic looks at what a small setup cannot safely do, and at the steps and papers needed to open a new one.

In two minutes

A smaller setup has real limits in staff, equipment, emergency capacity and record keeping, so the law expects it to stay within those limits, refer beyond them, and obtain the registrations and approvals that apply before it opens.
