Conspiracy when relevant
Five people plan a heist in a jewellery shop at Zaveri Bazaar. One buys the tools in Pune, one studies the guards, one arranges the getaway car, and one, who never meets the others, carries a message between them. Police catch only the messenger. Can the court use what the absent planners said and did against him? Normally you are not bound by words spoken by someone you never met. Section 8 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 makes a special exception for conspiracy.
