Your college Wi-Fi drops every day around 2 pm. You don't run to IT support with a guess: you form a hypothesis, too many devices on the network, work out what that would predict, that it should recover once the lecture hall empties, and check. That everyday habit has a fixed sequence of stages, and this topic asks you to name them.

The Hypothetico-Deductive Method is how a tentative hypothesis is turned into a tested one: formulate it, gather more facts, deduce what it would predict, and test whether that prediction holds.
