Authorities, Assessment, Compliance and Recovery
A small factory in Turbhe deducts provident fund from its workers’ wages but does not deposit the money, and years later an officer comes with a notice. Chapter XI of the Code on Social Security, 2020 is the enforcement chapter. It is where the benefits promised in the other chapters turn into inspections, orders and recovery certificates.
