Study and analysis of Moot problems including issues involved

Your friend group gets a forwarded WhatsApp screenshot of an argument and within minutes everyone has a verdict, and nobody has read the whole thread. A moot problem is the opposite exercise. It is a few pages of invented facts, and the marks go to the team that reads slowest and sees the most. The skill is not knowing law; it is turning a story into three or four precise questions that a court can actually decide.

In two minutes

Analysing a moot problem means reading the facts until you can state, in one sentence each, who the parties are, what happened in order, what each side wants, and which legal questions (issues) the court must answer, starting with whether it can hear the matter at all.
